Invoke keyboard maestro palette6/15/2023 Let me ask you though, what iPad app are you using for your external softkeys? I've been hearing of an app called Custom Keypad:Īlso, how do you like the Artist Color panel? I'd love to hear from an experienced user as I'm pretty fast with a mouse and keyboard and am unsure about sticking with the panel. I've heard of other doing this and I think that Keyboard Maestro might work for this. Just pick a half or quadrant, and you’re good to go. If you have simple needs, Keyboard Maestro provides some good presets, and you don’t have to do all the math. Thanks a lot for the awesome advice, Heiko! I'm on a Mac, and was thinking along those same lines, of using a macro recorder that can utilize screen location. To get to a Move and Resize action in Keyboard Maestro, you need to first drag in a Resize a Window action, then change to Move and Resize in the dropdown. To help you with the panel (I have the MC color too ): For example, if I have two macros triggered by Cmd+S called 'high' and 'him' then youd need to type 'hig' to trigger the first. Downside is your GUI needs to be exactly as it was the time you recorded the macros as many of the GUI elements change positions depending on what you have activated. The Keyboard Maestro Application Palette displays a list of all the applications you currently have open and lets you switch between those applications with a click of a button. When you trigger it, a palette pops up and you just type the first letter of the macro you want to trigger (or more if they have names that begin with the same letters). These hot keys macros can than be assigned to the panel or in my case an Ipad app with softkeys just for that.
